Katie Wright- Motivational Coach and Mentor

Katie has risen from poverty to prosperity, gaining an unbeatable resilience and determination to triumph over adversity. Experiencing a life of trials and tribulations to then become the dedicated and successful mother, mentor, and motivator she is today proves her a perfect example of what the tools and knowledge Wright Wise offers can create in one’s life.

Having observed and studied human behaviour for decades, developing invaluable knowledge and an ever-deepening understanding of others, Katie has always felt increasingly compelled to help people to see and nourish their self-worth, significance, and true value.

Katie’s life experience has led her to become the successful owner and Co-Founder of Wright Wise and creator of such life changing methods as the Silver Lining Technique, The A.G.I.L.E Method, and The You T.I.M.E Method. She is devoted to improving lives and is using her business to create a groundbreaking platform for positive change.

Single mother of 19 years and lover of all things creative, Katie spends her leisure time exploring the outdoors, drawing, singing, dancing, creating music and playing guitar, playing sports and going to the gym, and loves to laugh. She enjoys reading, learning, and acquiring new skills. Katie is an avid animal lover, her favourite place being in nature spending time with her daughter and dogs.

This impressive business owner has learned from the best, with teachers such as the founder of the University of Pennsylvania’s Positive Psychology Centre, Professor E. P. Seligman, as well as one of Australia’s leading professional speakers and Co-Founder of Authentic Education, Benjamin J. Harvey.

With a loving and infectious positive nature together with her passion for laughter and learning, Katie’s goal is to revolutionise the way in which we perceive adversity.

Neil Pakes- Performance Coach and Mentor

Neil has been helping people live their best life in many respects over many years. This is the result of being guided by his values. He helps others find the right direction for them by helping them to take action in alignment with their values. He sees a fulfilling work life as the foundation for contentment with life in general. Career coaching has therefore become his niche.

Neil is an Arts Law graduate with a major in Japanese and has a graduate Diploma in Education. He was trained by two of Australia’s leading personal development companies to gain certification in coaching. He has also been formally trained in teaching English as a foreign language and in freelance journalism.

An inquisitive nature and a love of analytical thinking have been the major drivers in Neil’s life choices. A profound interest in societies and humanity in general led him to study Law and languages. Legal studies made him deeply interested in international relations. Linguistic studies deepened his interest in intercultural communication. Neil teaches English, Chinese, Japanese, German, French and good old Latin.

From 2011 to 2020, Neil taught in Australian high school classrooms and guided more adventurous pursuits in the great outdoors. His fondest memories during this period were of developing students’ life skills, including sense of direction, in challenging situations that extended beyond the confines of the classroom. In 2021, Neil acted on the skills he had gained in online teaching during 2020. He began teaching remotely and with a flexibility of location that was impaired almost only by a pandemic. He enjoyed the freedom of being able to teach and guide from afar. Even so, Neil likes to balance this with traditional interaction face to face and in person. He therefore returned to the field of outdoor skills teaching after lockdown was lifted in 2021.

He even returned to the physical classroom in moderation in 2022 when he was offered the opportunity to teach Chinese.

Neil has been a widely roaming international adventurer who has experienced many challenges with direction. He enjoys adjusting his direction according to changing circumstances and enjoys helping others find the direction that is currently best for them.
